These notes were written over the course of a year in Semester 2, 2012 and Semester 3, 2013 for Property Law 2 and Property Law 3 at Griffith University. Since that time, the two courses have become one, hence I’ve decided to combine these sets of notes. They give an incredibly detailed insight into both the case law and statutory provisions governing property law in Queensland, covering a wide range of areas such as trespass and encroachment, co-ownership, indefeasibility and registration, exceptions to indefeasibility, priorities and legal interests under the Torrens system, caveats, settlement notices, mortgages, leases, covenants, easements and remedies.
