About the author: After scoring extremely high marks in VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education), this author undertook a Bachelor of Environments, Geographies, Politics and Culture at Melbourne University where they achieved the Ormond papers Research Prize and Ormond Scholar Aware, Ormond college Students’ Club Award for Outstanding Contribution and the Mervyn Bournes Higgins and Peter Callow Memtorial Scholarship. They went on to study the Juris Doctor (JD) at Melbourne Law School where they won the Raynes Dickson Memorial Exhibition for Legal Research, Ruth Campbell-Betty Hayes Prize and the JD Bursary and Graduate Access Melbourne Scholarships. They were also on the Melbourne University Law Students Society Committee. This author has held a number of impressive legal positions throughout their studies and currently works at the Office of Public Prosecutions in Victoria.
