Introducing our new advisory board

The Nexus Notes team is delighted to welcome five all-stars from the Australian tech space as members of our advisory board. They join at an exciting time for the business as we continue to harness the ginormous teaching abilities of high-achieving students across the world.

In no particular order, the board is made up of:

Dean McEvoy
Dean co-founded Spreets which was acquired by Yahoo!7 in 2011. He is currently onto his next startup, Icon Park, a crowdfunding platform for restaurants and bars. Dean holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Sydney and a post-graduate diploma in advertising, marketing and communications from the University of Technology, Sydney.

David Jones
David co-founded ThreatMetrix in 2005 and is currently the founder and CEO of Streethawk. He has more than 15 years experience in technical and management roles within the software industry. David holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Mick Liubinskas
Mick is the co-founder of Pollenizer and entrepreneur-in-residence at muru-D. In addition to years of experience in helping early-stage startups to the seed stage, Mick is on the board of Oomph and WooBoard. Mick holds a bachelor of business degree from the University of Newcastle.

David Kenney
David is partner at one of Sydney’s leading corporate accounting firms, Hall Chadwick. He advised on the ASX float of online outsourcing marketplace freelancer.com in 2013 and has advised many early-stage tech startups. David holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of New South Wales and is a qualified chartered accountant.

David Kowalski
David co-founded Country Cars which was acquired by Fairfax Media in 2007. He now is an active investor in local and US tech startups through Green Lane Digital.
